My dog stopped eating the other brand I had been giving her for several months, even when I mixed it with the wet food she likes. Right before I switched I was throwing out at least half of what I put in her bowl. Also, she had very loose BMs. I was giving her pumpkin every day to help with that. Now that we switched she eats this food dry and her BMs are solid.

due to allergies I have to feed grain free. the vets are recommending against it, but, I have no choice. I have large dogs and feeding them strictly a meat diet is unattainable for my budget. I mix can of meat in with the dry to pack it more full of nutrients and the dogs love it.

There has been a consistent raise in the incidence of cancer in dogs over the years, and one of the reasons is the addition of corn and grains which tend to get moldy. My last 3 dogs died of cancer. I'm trying to prevent a 4th. My elderly dog loves this food, so I'm hoping it's manufactured in a healthy way for her.

I bought this for my picky GS. I've bought her the most expensive brand of food in the past to help with her prone yeast infection and sensitive stomach and she just wouldn't eat and would constantly nibble her paws and almost everyday she had diarrhea. Someone mentioned pumpkin which could solve the diarrhea problem and so I thought I'd give this a try. I opened the bag and right off the bat it smelled of pumpkin. Gave some to my GS and she ate it all. So far no loose stool and nibbling paws.

I never write reviews but, I have to say- my 2 VERRRY PICKY cockapoos. Who stopped eating their Purina One dry dog food one day and would not eat it dry , wet - and only ate the cheese toppers I put on it - well I ordered this and gave them it as a few treats to go and get as I let them fetch it when I say 1,2,3!!! Well they were fighting over it lol . They loved this so much I started adding it every day to their current food to slowly integrate it - they picked out this food and left the purina .I would say tbis is a WIN! They love it , I'm happy they are happy ! We will be switching for sure - good ingredients, good prices , great service via Chewy. Happy mom and pups
